ROBERTSON WYSE SOLICITORS

Criminal Law

We are experienced in dealing with all types of  cases including Road Traffic offences, Assault, Domestic cases, Fraud, Embezzlement and Murder. Our experienced team of lawyers provide a high quality service from the start of a criminal investigation to its satisfactory conclusion.  We explain and guide clients through the initial stages of an enquiry and prosecution, and professionally represent them at all stages of the criminal court process. We also have access to a comprehensive range of recognised expert witnesses.

High Court

Peter E. Robertson is our in-house Solicitor Advocate who has extended rights of audience before the higher courts in Scotland. In criminal cases Peter can represent clients alongside advocates in:

  • the High Court of Justiciary
  • the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom

Solicitor advocates are regulated by the Law Society of Scotland. Solicitor advocates may work with a case from start to finish and will work on almost all aspects of a case. Solicitor advocates would usually be part of a team and work for a firm, where they would be acting on behalf of the client across all levels including research, attending meetings, preparing the court work and appearing in court.
